The desired setting is just for viewing purposes, meaning: the date you enter there will be shown as the starting date. But there is no more additional feature behind.

If you want to reset the whole stat you will loose all the old values. I think that is not your intention. But we have the archive function. As I could see, you already defined a saved query starting from 28th January of 2024. So, this is what you wanted, right?
