Counter - Visitor 'Online Now' Total

Hi Holger and Reimar,

I recently did a total re-install of PHP web stat but the online visitor total shows a continual increase of online visitors throughout the day. It never reduces. I have set the time visitors are shown as online to 30 mins. I would think that visitors should drop off after 30 mins but it does not. I have also tried other times like 5 minutes and 1 minute but it still only ever adds to the online visitor total. I'm not sure what I need to do to fix this.

Hi Dan,

sorry for the delay, but we were just in the holiday season.

Your problem seems to be a little be of strange.
The desired settings should work correctly. So just keep them like this.
BUT: you set the time of an IP recount time to 5 minutes too ! This should be changed.
We suggest using 60 minutes for this setting and 30 minutes for the online visitor counter time.
