It's 17:10 and I see by counter.php that today's count has already been moved to yesterday. How is that possible? It looks real strange compared to the other counter right above it.

In the admin panel the time that's displayed appears to be UTC so I set my time as -7 which is my offset from UTC. Is there something else I need to do?

No, the server time was 2:10 -7 hours makes my time 17:10.

Right now the server time is 4:39, my time is 21:39 so I subtract 7 from 4:39 to get 21:39, right?

The USA Weather Finder counter says 16 hits today but WebStat says 0 today and 20 yesterday.

Your problem is easy ............... you are living in a Time - Chaos!!!

Your Server is in an other State than you - Time difference has to be 2hour. But Servertime is -6 to -7h!
Your other Counter is in a State with a time difference to your State with +1h

In your example with the Jump at 17:10
Your server means at 17:00 ...... it's a new Day. That means for the Stat: What I have count today is now yesterday.
And your other Counter will wait until 23:00 to say: Now it's a new day - and switch to yesterday ......

You have just to synchronizes all the countys and the times and it will work proper!

Your thought with -7h is correct - but it doesn't work.

I guess the Server shows UTC - but runs for all programs GMT (of course!!!)

That means for your Stat: adjust to +0 (your time) or -1 for the other Counter time.

Just try it for a couple of days, ok?

Well, I can now say that the new version didn't help. No matter what I have the offset for the counter resets a 5PM my time.
