Hello
My first question on this forum.
I installed PHP Web Stat ver. 3.5.08 and this is what i get from my webhosting:
Subject: WARNING: An insecure file on your Lycos Webhosting account that is creating PHP Abuse

My question: Do you send me bad files or what's the problem, also the stat-program is not counting.
What can i do so my hosting not put me from internet.
Please help me. :-[

Hi there,

we definitely do not ship out any bad files ! Just to point out this.

The reason why your hosting provider mentioned these files, is not really telling us completely the problem:

1. The /config/backup.php file packs all files of the /log folder to a zip archive.
Maybe it is not allowed to create new files???

2. The /config/edit_css.php is our admin-center editor for the css files of your themes.
The edit_css.php does not do any things, that other files within the stat do also!!!

Nevertheless, running the stat without these files, is not a problem !

So back to your questions/comments/problems ...

1. Please leave a link to check why your stat is not working. There can be so many totally different issues for not running/tracking.

2. Check the first FAQ entry "Statistic is not working" and try to look for possible reasons:

OK! Im sorry if i put my foot on any toe, but i have used your statprog. for some year now and suddenly counter.php ver. 1.8 looks like this and stops counting.
Therefor i tryed too instal ver. 3.5.08 with no luck.
Here is how counter.php ver 1.8 looks like:

1214638854";?>
PHP Web Statistik
Online      0
Today      0
Yesterday      0
06/2008      732
05/2008      21
Maximum      67
Ø/Day      24
Total      8254
Start 18.11.2007

I have send over a new counter.php but i will not count or show me the right numbers but inside the adminarea i can see that it counts but i can not get it out with count.php.

We start with this problem and maybee you will help me. I will try too start the new ver. later.

Please check the general settings in the admincenter and use the help text with the examples on the left.
There are two wrong entries, but I could not change them due to server running too slow ?
