Generally you have to make a backup of the stat folders LOG, BACKUP and CONFIG.
Also it is very important to follow our instructions exactly.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Set the stat to maintenance mode (Admin Center / Maintenance Mode).
2. Log out of the admin center and close your browser.
3. Delete the following files from the stat directory:
        func/func_file_row_size_big.php
        images/admin/adminbg.gif
        images/admin/adminlogo.gif
        images/admin/admintopbg.gif
        images/admin/bg_transfer.gif
        images/create_index.gif
        images/create_index_ready.gif
        images/error_bg.png
        images/loading_indicator_24.gif
        images/loading_indicator_48.gif
        js/html5shiv.js
        js/ticker.js
        js/unitpngfix.js
4. Copy all files included in the zip archive to the stat directory on your server, overwriting existing files by keeping the folder structure.
5. Now return to the Admin Center, log in, and click Save under Settings, even if you have not made any changes.
6. Open the file "update.php" in your browser, for example http://www.example.com/stat/update.php.
7. Afterwards delete the "update.php" in the main directory of the stat on your server.
8. Take your statistics out of maintenance mode now.
