Could someone direct me to the location where I will be able to find additional information (in english, preferably) for the codes used to determine the date format for the forums.

On the "Edit my Profile" page, there is an option for creating my own custom time format except the codes shown there have little resemblance/likeness to the PHP date format I have grown used to, such as found on the following pages:

   http://ca3.php.net/date

The code on the "Edit my Profile" page looks like this:

   MM D+ YYYY @ HH:mm:ss*

I understand some of it but would like to know more so I make a better choice.

Unfortunately, the first link gives me the following reply:

    "Error: This action is not allowed from an outside domain!!"

The second link got me to the main support pages, but doing a search for either "date" and "date format" has given me none of the results I expected ... and there is that little fact that one can only do searches once a minute!

From what I have read on the YaBB pages, the system is written in Perl ... so I will have a look at the Perl date format...
