I upgraded to version 24 and followed the instructions. After copying files to my ftp-server I cant access my stat. It seems that my password has been reset.
Any suggestions?

Before the upgrade I took a complete backup of my stat folder and I have now reverted back to the old version 20.1 version.

Could it be that instead of downloading & installing the version 24 upgrade files (downloaded filename = stat_update_24.zip), that instead you maybe accidentally downloaded the full version (downloaded filename = phpwebstat24.zip), which would've overwritten your original installation?

Doughhhh!!! Its too long since I have looked at this super PHP stat script.

I by mistake indeed downloaded the wrong .zipfiles. I have now downloaded and installed the update and everything is working fine.

In case John's answer does not work, you can always reset the password with the following steps:

Your password is stored encrypted in config.php (directory: stats/config/)

1. Open config.php in notepad (preferably Notepad++)
2. Delete everything between the quotation marks after  $adminpassword               =
3. Save config.php, and you can now log into the stats without a password.
4. Set a new password in the Admin center.
