Titel: No plugins access when protected by Cloudflare
Beitrag von John Motyer am 14.08.24 um 12:50:57
Hello Reimar and Holger,

About a month ago I started to protect some of my websites with Cloudflare.  I just discovered that I am no longer able to access the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner:

The above screenshot is from another of my websites that is not protected by Cloudflare.  On my Cloudflare-protected websites, nothing happens when I click on the icon with the 9 dots, and when I right-click on it & select to open in a new tab, it tells me: about:blank#blocked

I am not worried that I cannot get into the drop-down to access Admin Center, because I can access it using /config/admin.php

The only 2 plugins that I use are Last Hits and AutoUpdate Country detection, and I just discovered that I can access those plugins with:
  • plugins/geoip/index.php
  • plugins/lasthits/index.php

Is the normal method for accessing plugins something called Javascript, or is it something else?

And is there another URL shortcut that I can use to access that drop-down menu, as clicking the icon with the 9-dots no longer works with Cloudflare?

Thank you in advance and have yourselves a great day.

Regards,
John

Edit: I just discovered that none of the 4 icons grey icons in the top-right corner work, when website is protected by Cloudflare, as can be seen HERE.

Hi John,

unfortunately we have no deeper experience with cloudflare.
My suggestion would be to check for any block settings. Or maybe there exist logs containing blocked elements? Would be great if you can find out the true reason for the problems.

Best regards
Reimar
