My provider changed server. After loging in to admin I get 'updating stat chache', this process can take a few seconds... well, it takes forever ;-) What to do?

Ok, today all seems to work well. However, the daily statistics are gone. Is that something fixable? The overall statistics still look available.

Well actually the reason is that WebStat does not work under PHP 8.1.... (yet?)

If there has been a server change, these kind of issues may appear.

We encourage to directly log into the admin panel and recreate the whole stat cache. That should give you back the lost values.

In our Test environments we are running PHP Version 8.0 and 8.1.
So this should not be a the problem.

I managed to get the statistics back. That's great. The PHP 8.1 issues still persist. When you log in the hanging occurs, but under 7.4 it directly shows the correct form. I can bypass by using the ?parameter=finished parameter while hanging and refresh the form, but stat/index.php hangs.

Thanks for the feedback. The workaround with the url string should give you access, besides the problem.
We will have to further analyse this and come back with a solution.

Any progress on this? It is rather annoying to modify the url every time ;-)

Haven't heard from you. The problem still persist. Funny is that I get a .htaccess error message, that it cannot be loaded. I found the section about SSI, but I doubt if this is the issue. But the statistics per month is gone and I have let it run for ages. Is it possible to delete the dependency on SSI?

You have to fix all the red signs by following the installation manual.
All log files need chmod 666. This enables the stat to run properly. Afterwards, please test again.

I was re-installing, but all the flags are green now. It doesn't make any difference, I still have the forbidden message. Also, when I logon to access the admin section I get: Forbidden

You don't have permission to access this resource.Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe

Can you give us a (s)ftp access so we can do a further analysis?

Ok, I managed to fix this. Did a full reinstall and restored logs. The provider has moved the site to another server, and by doing so, the new server had reset rights to folders and files. It was a struggle, but it certainly was not an issue of web stat. So the statistics are working again. Thank you for your support. The sysinfo has put me on the correct track.
