Hi,

I have had to re-install form 4.0 and every time I get to the 4.1 update it stops working with errors when running update.php.  This has happened 3 times in a row and I am tired of starting again each time.

Is there an obvious reason why a working v4.0 cannot upgrade to v4.1 anymore?

i copied all updates, one after the other, to the original 4.0 folder, regarding the update instructions http://www.php-web-statistik.de/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=update_en
means file deletions and installed it on my webspace.
probably that will help you.

are you saying that you did this on your local drive and then uploaded the final version?

...what about running update.php between each version etc?

...although "sys info" reports the version of all my files is wrong.  Any ideas?

i am happy to hear that my method also worked for you.

probably like it happend on my programm, all files has been transfered in binary mode, try to set your ftp programm to automatic. in filezilla it worked for me. in winscp i had have to change this transfer mode.

it works fine, so I am not sure that is the problem (I did transfer in automatic).
