Titel: Not Tracking Correctly...
Beitrag von Brian am 28.01.15 um 20:38:44
Hi,

I have installed phpwebstat successfully, but afterwards, I am having difficulty tracking...I have double-checked my configuration settings, and the best I was able to track is from the syscheck link in phpwebstat admin. That link proves that stat is in fact working, but there are some issues from that area as well.

First issue, is that the logging test shows 3 records have been saved, however, there are 5 records.

Second issue, is that the time is 3 hours earlier than my time don't know what the correct timezone setting should be.

Third issue, is that the filenames being tracked for the 5 records is syscheck.php, what about tracking outside the stats folder?
---------------------------

For the starting page of your domain I put: /folder/index.php should the slash be in front or no? Ex: folder/index.php or /folder/index.php?

I've tried it both ways but really confused right now so I need to be sure.

I have put the javascript tracking code in: /folder/index.php and not tracking any pages from that folder or further into the website.

Note: There are no errors in the sysinfo page. I am at a total loss as to why the stat is not tracking

I have also adjusted the Time in minutes after a user will be tracked as a new one to: 1 instead of 1440 (24 hours)

My Website: http://www.worldclassads.com
My Website Stats Admin: http://www.worldclassads.com/stats/

Password for stats: admin
(changed this, didn't even remember putting it publicly, I will send it if required in a private message)

Please enlighten me with something I did not do correctly.

Thank you
Brian

Hi Brian,

please check step 4 of manual.
Your tracking code is out of the html-tag and this is wrong.

Hi,

Still not tracking. I have made sure I have included the tracking code so it is inside the html tags. I am using wordpress, and have purchased classipress theme / plugin for my classified website, I put the tracking code at the bottom of the footer page, I am not sure where I should put the code to track. I have made adjustments in the admin area, but none of which are working for me.  :(
