Information about how to update the PHP Web Stat to Version 11

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Generally you have to make a backup of the stat folders LOG, BACKUP and CONFIG.
Also it is very important to follow our instructions exactly.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

Set the stat to maintenance mode (Admin Center / Maintenance Mode).

Log out of the admin center and close your browser.

Copy all files included in the zip archive to the stat directory on your server, overwriting existing files by keeping the folder structure.

Delete the following files from the stat directory:
   func/func_browser.php
   images/system_c.png
   images/login_key.png
   images/w3c-html401.gif
   images/w3c-xhtml.gif
   themes/*/bg_counter.png

Set the rights of the theme files "light" by reading the manual on our site.

Now return to the Admin Center, log in, and click Save under Settings, even if you have not made any changes.

Open the file "update.php" in your browser, for example http://www.example.com/stat/update.php.

Afterwards delete the "update.php" in the main directory of the stat on your server.

Take your statistics out of maintenance mode now.

ADJUSTMENT REQUIRED

Remove the entry "<noscript><img..." line from the tracking code that you have included in your web pages, as this is no longer required. If you use the file config/tracking_code.php per PHP include, an adjustment is not necessary. Learn more
